In a scene which has, from its conception, been predominantly fronted by artists from east and south London, 22 year old MC AJ Tracey is quickly becoming west London’s new generation grime ambassador.

After capturing the attention of UK tastemakers with energetic live performances and an authentic grime style, Tracey has gained coverage in The Fader, Fact magazine, Complex, MTV and SBTV. He has also taken to the stage as a regular Boiler Room guest with the likes of Skepta, and was invited by BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra DJ Charlie Sloth to perform as part of his Fire In The Booth session. This year has also seen the young rapper collaborate with Puma on their Suede Season and he has also been nominated alongside the likes of Izzy Bizu, Nadia Rose, Ray BLK, WSTRN and Avelino for this year’s MOBO Best Newcomer award.
